In order to create beauty and expand greenery in the city of Kabul, 5,000 Mersal flower bushes were planted in the Company Street planter, located in the fifth district of Kabul city, by the Directorate of Greenery of Kabul Municipality. This planter, the result of the continuous efforts and hard work of the Directorate of Greenery of Kabul Municipality, has now turned into a beautiful and green space. Serajuddin "Patan," Deputy Director of Greenery at Kabul Municipality, said that this planter stretches for 5 kilometers from the Mirwais Maidan (Kote Sangi) area to Company crossroads and previously included 70,000 Mersal flower bushes and thousands of trees. With the planting of 5,000 more Mersal flowers, the number of these flowers has increased. According to him, numerous actions have been taken along this route, including tree pruning, branch cutting, creating new beds for lawn planting, installing protective edges for the planters, and establishing an irrigation system. Officials at the Directorate of Greenery have assured that this planter will be sustainably protected and maintained to preserve and enhance its beauty and greenery.
