
The rehabilitation of the road extending from Zanbaq Intersection to Malik Asghar Intersection in District 2 has begun under the supervision of the Directorate of Works Maintenance and Monitoring of Kabul Municipality. The project covers 1,012 meters and a width of 12.5 meters.
During a visit to the project site, Kabul Municipality’s Deputy for Construction Affairs, Engineer Amir Zmarak Yasir, emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards and accelerating the progress of work. He also issued the necessary instructions to project officials.
The initial phase involves repairing damaged sections of the road, followed by asphalt paving. The project is considered important for preserving public assets, improving traffic flow, and preventing further deterioration of urban infrastructure.
In addition, the project includes the rehabilitation of sidewalks and drainage systems on both sides of the road.
