The Almighty God has determined the destiny of mankind in such a way that human beings grow and develop in the lap of nature, remaining fully dependent and in need of it.
In return, nature was also created to serve humanity—to fulfill their needs and bring them peace, pleasure, and joy. The sun and moon, wind and rain, mountains and valleys, plants, trees, and grasslands—all are divine blessings placed at the service of the crown of creation, the vicegerent of God on earth. All are subject to and obedient to human beings so that they may benefit from them for their worldly existence. Among these glorious elements of nature, “trees and plants” play a vital role in the life of humans and other living beings. Indeed, tree planting and sapling cultivation are among the means of preserving nature and purifying the air, allowing people to enjoy clean oxygen and full health.
