
Asphalt paving of secondary roads in the Shash Darak area of District 9 is progressing rapidly under the supervision of Kabul Mayor Mawlawi Abdul Rashid and is being carried out in accordance with technical standards.
The Mayor instructed the relevant officials to complete the asphalt paving as quickly as possible while ensuring quality and full compliance with technical standards so that residents can benefit from improved transportation facilities.
The project covers a total length of 1,507 meters, with road widths ranging from 12 to 15 meters. It has been designed to include sidewalks, curbstones, and other standard road features and is expected to be completed within the next month.
Before the project began, residents of the area faced numerous difficulties due to the poor condition of the roads. With the implementation of the project, these challenges are expected to be resolved, providing the community with improved access and greater convenience.
Kabul Municipality has reaffirmed its commitment to implementing infrastructure projects across different parts of the city to provide residents with essential urban services and improved living conditions.
