Dr. Sadruddin, son of Ghausuddin, was born in 1976 (1355 Solar Hijri) in Hesa Awal Kohistan district of Kapisa province. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran.
Dr. Sadruddin has conducted research in various areas including:

Proposing a construction pattern for Kabul city based on the theory of endogenous development,

Investigating the historical background of Kabul city during the Timurid era using historical documents,

Analyzing the relationship between the engineering patterns of fortresses and cultural behaviors in Afghanistan.

Head of the Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University; Member of the Specialized Board at the Research Center of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing; General Advisor for Urban Development and Housing; Head of the Senior Advisor’s Office at the High Office of the Presidency in Urban Development Affairs.
Professional Activities:
Management of construction projects inside and outside the country; design and planning of industrial, production, residential complexes, and residential towns abroad, including the Simorgh Residential Town in the south of Tehran city, the development plan of Loqman Pharmaceutical Factory in the south of Tehran city, and the development plan of Loqman Pharmaceutical Factory in the west of Tehran; collaboration and supervision of teams preparing the master plans for the cities of Pul-e Alam and Herat; supervision of the design and planning of a production, recreational, and tourism complex in Kapisa province, among other activities.
Recently, based on the recommendation of the Kabul Municipality authority and approval of the High Office of the Presidency of Afghanistan, he has been appointed as the Deputy of Urban Planning and Development of Kabul Municipality while retaining his employee rights.
