In consideration of the economic challenges caused by efforts to combat the coronavirus—which have especially affected vulnerable segments of society—the Government of Afghanistan has designed and launched the “National Tablecloth” (Dastarkhwan-e-Milli) program to fight the virus in both urban and rural areas of the country. This program is being implemented through development councils. Kabul Municipality, in coordination with local councils and relevant institutions, is expected to launch this program in the city of Kabul in the coming days.

Kabul, as the capital of the country and one of the most populous cities in Afghanistan, is home to various service institutions engaged in delivering public services.
To help inform Kabul’s citizens about these services and the institutions providing them,
Kabul Municipality has formally requested all respected service-providing institutions to submit a list of their services.
Fortunately, a large number of these institutions have shared their service lists with the municipality, and they are now being published through the official website of Kabul Municipality.
The goal of Kabul Municipality is to enable citizens to become familiar with the types of available services in the city and their respective providers, so they can benefit from them in their daily lives.
The table below presents the list of services, categorized by the providing institution. Citizens can also directly access the service lists by clicking on the attached link.
