Under the leadership of Kabul Mayor Mawlawi Abdul Rashid, a meeting was held with the participation of Deputy for Financial and Administrative Affairs Mawlawi Sayed Esmatullah Asim, heads of central departments, district chiefs, and revenue directors to discuss the process of revenue collection in Kabul Municipality.
During this meeting, the revenue plan for the solar year 1404 was reviewed. Officials who had collected revenues according to the plan were encouraged by the leadership of Kabul Municipality, while necessary instructions were given to those who had collected less than the projected amount.
The meeting also included discussions on improving and assessing the status of the municipal service fees. The mayor of Kabul emphasized that the revenue sources of the municipality must be utilized effectively. He made it clear that negligence and corruption in this area are unacceptable to the leadership, as municipal revenue is a vital source for delivering urban services and implementing public projects. Therefore, both citizens and responsible officials should avoid carelessness and indifference in the revenue collection process.
Additionally, the Kabul Mayor instructed officials to take strong steps toward eliminating urban disorder and to prevent the illegal activities of mobile vendors. He assigned specific responsibilities to relevant officials in the area of urban order and stressed that urban order must be continuously monitored through supportive planning.
