To promote greenery and enhance urban beauty, the renovation work on the flower pots along Pul-e-Sukhta road towards Darulaman is ongoing under the supervision of the Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Greening.
Sirajuddin "Patan," Deputy Director of the Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Greening, stated that in this area, in addition to taking care of the existing trees, approximately 1,500 Mursal flower bushes have been planted since the spring of 1404 Hijri Solar (2025). It is also planned to plant another 600 Mursal flower bushes in these flower pots.
He added that the irrigation of these flower pots is done using recycled water, and a standard water treatment plant is planned to be built soon to support irrigation in this area.
The Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Greening strives, through such programs, to give the city a beautiful and fresh appearance and to provide public welfare for its citizens.
