To improve the environment and promote urban culture, a joint cleaning campaign was held in the 7th district. During this program, a large portion of the scattered waste from the bed of the Kabul River was collected and removed from the city.

This voluntary effort was carried out with the active participation of Kabul Municipality officials, cleaning service companies, and a number of citizens. The participants emphasized that keeping the environment clean is both a religious and national duty, and they called on all citizens to cooperate with the municipality in maintaining the cleanliness of urban areas, especially the Kabul River bed.

In this program, Mohammad Omar "Haqqani," Administrative Director of the 7th district, Mahmoud "Wahidi," Director of Awareness Programs at Kabul Municipality, and Maulvi Abdulamir "Mobariz," Regional Supervisor of the National Environmental Protection Agency, stated that the goal of the campaign was to raise awareness about the importance of environmental cleanliness, strengthen the spirit of cooperation, and create a healthy space for citizens.

They also emphasized that cooperation between the people and officials in maintaining urban cleanliness is a good tradition and a civic duty, and called for greater support for the hardworking orange-clad workers in the successful implementation of cleaning programs.
