In order to prevent the illegal slaughter of livestock and the use of unsafe meat in wedding halls, a joint commission composed of representatives from Kabul Municipality, the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Interior, the Emarat Slaughterhouse Company, the National Environmental Protection Agency, and the Kabul Provincial Police Command conducted inspections of wedding hall operations and provided necessary guidance to violators.

Mufti Fazl Karim Ahmad, Deputy Director of Environmental Health and Environment at Kabul Municipality, stated:
"Operators of wedding halls are obligated to obtain their meat from legal and standard slaughterhouses and must strictly refrain from slaughtering livestock within the premises of the halls, as past violations have led to the spread of diseases and environmental problems in the city."

He emphasized that the use of meat in wedding halls is under continuous supervision by the commission, aiming to prevent violations and improve the operation of these halls.

He also added:
"To facilitate services for citizens, prevent the spread of diseases, and reduce environmental pollution, the slaughtering of livestock in front of butcher shops, in public places, and especially within the premises of wedding halls is strictly prohibited. Citizens must use the standard slaughterhouses located in the areas of Karizmir, Reshkhor, Makrorayan Intersection, and Company for livestock slaughter."
