To enhance Kabul’s transportation network and manage surface water effectively, construction work is underway on Kamari Road and a water canal in the western section of the Bagrami project, situated in District 22. The road stretches 2,586 meters in length with variable widths of 31, 26, and 6.5 meters, beginning from the Nasaji of Bagrami Road and extending to Kamari village. As part of the project, a large water canal is also being constructed along the western edge of the Bagrami area, spanning 1,255 meters in length and 2 meters in width. Key components of the initiative include 46 culverts (each 4.4 meters long and 3 meters wide), an 85-meter-long retaining wall with heights of 2.7 meters and widths ranging between 1.9 and 2.1 meters, as well as a drainage system, pedestrian sidewalks, flowerbeds, streetlights, road markings, and other features of a standard road. Recognized as one of Kabul Municipality’s significant infrastructure projects, it is expected to make a substantial contribution to improving traffic flow and transportation conditions in the city
