A tree irrigation campaign was conducted in the green belt area north of Kabul Airport with the active participation of Kabul Municipality officials, private sector representatives (including hotel owners), and residents of District 15. Sirajuddin Patan, Deputy Director of the Fertility Department, thanked the participants and emphasized that the upkeep and irrigation of green spaces is not only the responsibility of the Fertility Department but also a moral and national duty of all citizens. He encouraged everyone to take part in watering trees and saplings, especially during the hot season. He further noted that while the Fertility Department is working hard to preserve and expand green areas across Kabul, these efforts require active public cooperation to be successful. Meanwhile, Mawlawi Sirajuddin, Deputy of District 15, assured that local residents, with the support of private businesses, would take responsibility for maintaining the trees and saplings in the Qasaba green belt. He also underlined the critical role of green spaces play in enhancing quality of life. This campaign saw the collaboration of 70 water tankers contributed by hotels such as Mumtaz Mahal, Uranus, Esteqlal, Sultan Shahr, Khaleej, and Sham Paris, along with sanitation companies operating in District 15.
