To help address the initial difficulties faced by returnees from neighboring countries, the Works Maintenance and Monitoring Directorate of Kabul Municipality has started leveling and spreading gravel in the refugee settlement area at the Paitakht Terminal. Nik Mohammad Noori, Deputy Assistant of Urban Infrastructure and representative of Kabul Municipality, stated that the area is being organized in collaboration with partner institutions and organizations to assist with the resettlement process and provide essential services to the returnees. In the first phase, Kabul Municipality will spread gravel across 6,000 square meters, level the ground, and then move forward with installing garbage bins, setting up mobile public toilets, and organizing the tent arrangements
