Since the month of Hamal 1404 in the solar calendar, the Directorate of Works, Maintenance, and Monitoring of Kabul Municipality has completed foundational work on nearly 5 kilometers of the old road of Paghman. Asphalt paving is scheduled to begin soon. This road, which extends from Qargha Dam to Taq-e-Zafar in Paghman, measures 9,153 meters in length and 7 meters in width. Efforts are ongoing to finalize its construction and open it for public use within the current year. Once completed, the road will offer considerable ease of access for residents of District 14 and for visitors to the recreational areas in Paghman. This project plays a key role in enhancing Kabul city’s traffic and transportation infrastructure
