The construction of the unpaved section of the Bagrami–Lataband road, extending to the Kabul–Jalalabad highway in District 21, has seen remarkable progress, and preparations are underway to begin the asphalt paving soon. This vital infrastructure project plays a key role in improving east–south transit and streamlining traffic flow in the area. According to the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management, the road spans 3,300 meters in length and 60 meters in width. The project also features the construction of a major drainage canal, four culverts, and more than 7,000 cubic meters of retaining walls. Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance transportation access for residents and contribute to the economic growth of District 21.
