Construction and development work on the first phase of Gull Bagh Road, situated in Districts 6 and 7 of Kabul, is actively progressing. Officials have reported that nearly two kilometers of the road are set to be asphalted soon. This road spans 3,176 meters in length and 33 meters in width, linking Darulaman Palace with Faisal Township. The project also includes constructing drainage systems, sidewalks, medians, and other necessary components of a standard roadway. Authorities are committed to completing the project within the current year, ensuring it meets all technical and quality standards before opening it to traffic. Meanwhile, procurement processes for the third and fourth sections—from Faisal Township to Gull Bagh Bridge—are ongoing. These steps are part of a broader plan to extend the road all the way to the Kabul–Logar highway in a fully structured and planned manner. Gull Bagh Road is recognized as a vital economic corridor in the southwestern region of Kabul, and its development is a major focus in the municipality’s infrastructure strategy
