In coordination with UNOPS, Kabul Municipality is conducting concrete construction on two streets and building stairways on three other streets in the 5th section of District 3. According to the Programs and Projects Management Directorate, the two streets under construction cover a total length of 320 meters, with widths ranging from 2.5 to 4 meters. The three stairway streets span 280 meters in length and are 1.5 meters wide. The project also includes the construction of drainage systems and has currently reached 30% completion. It is expected to be finalized within the next two months. The purpose of this project is to improve access for residents living in hilly areas and to generate employment opportunities
