Construction work is currently in progress on the foundational sections of a new connecting road linking Omid Sabz Town to Irfani Road and extending to Qala-e-Qazi in District 13. As planned, this major project is expected to be completed and made operational within the current year. Engineer Mirurrahman Naseri, Head of the Programs and Projects Management Directorate at Kabul Municipality, mentioned that the main road from Omid Sabz Township to Irfani Road spans 3,834 meters in length and 45 meters in width, while the road connecting to Qala-e-Qazi measures 1,146 meters long and 20 meters wide. Both roads will be fully developed with standard features, including drainage systems, sidewalks, flowerbeds, road markings, and other essential components. He also noted that technical engineers from the Programs and Projects Management Directorate are continuously supervising various phases of the project to ensure quality and progress
