The Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Works, Maintenance, and Monitoring has initiated the second layer of asphalt on a 5-kilometer section of the old road of Paghman, following the successful completion of the first layer. This road project is being executed according to technical standards, with a strong emphasis on quality. The old road of Paghman, which extends from the Qargha Dam area to Taq-e-Zafar, measures 9,153 meters in length and 7 meters in width. Alongside the asphalting, work on the remaining foundational sections is also ongoing. The project is expected to be finalized within the current year, aiming to ease transportation for the residents of District 14 and those traveling to the recreational site of Paghman
