Following the completion of foundational work, overnight asphalting of the first phase of Gull Bagh Road, situated between Districts 6 and 7, began last night. The Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality reported that the road stretches 3,176 meters in length and 33 meters in width, running from Darulaman Palace to Faisal Township. About 2,000 meters are currently prepared for asphalting, while work continues on the remaining sections to prepare them for paving. Asphalting is being conducted overnight with special precautions to prevent traffic congestion and minimize disruption for residents. The first phase includes installation of drainage systems, sidewalks, flowerbeds, and other standard road features. The project is expected to be completed within this year. Construction on the second phase is underway, with plans to soon begin work on the third and fourth phases, extending the road to the Kabul–Logar Road, further enhancing transportation infrastructure in the city
