
Construction on the first phase of the Kabul–Logar Road is advancing quickly, with work underway on leveling, constructing a major canal and drainage systems, installing curbs, and completing other remaining sections. Previously, asphalting was finished on a 3,700-meter stretch of the subroad and a 2.5-kilometer section of the main lane, with the remaining portions soon to be prepared for paving. The project spans 7 kilometers in length and 60 meters in width, running from Nejat Monument to Charkh-e Ab, and includes all features of a standard road. As one of the key economic corridors in Kabul’s southern zone, the road is vital for improving transportation and supporting economic growth.
