On the fourth anniversary of the Islamic Emirate’s victory, the Company–Barchi Road, including a major bridge connecting Qala-e Nazir to Naqqash Hamam in Districts 5 and 13, was officially inaugurated for public use. The project is expected to improve traffic flow, ease congestion, enhance the city’s appearance, and provide greater convenience for local residents. Engineer Mohammad Dawood Zawab, Technical Assistant at Kabul Municipality’s Works, Maintenance, and Monitoring Directorate, reported that the road measures 2,274 meters in length and 30 meters in width. It features a 20-meter-long bridge over the Kabul River, with construction completed over two working years. He called on citizens to help preserve the road’s condition. The project also includes 76 lamp posts equipped with streetlights, aiming to improve traffic safety, reduce crime, and beautify the area. Mawlawi Abdul Samad Abid, head of District 13, expressed satisfaction with the development, noting that the road has eased congestion in the Pul-e Sokhta area and boosted economic opportunities. He added that the newly installed streetlights have enhanced both the beauty and safety of the area
