
Work is advancing on the second phase of Gull Bagh Road, covering 2,396 meters in length and 33 meters in width, from Faisal Township to Gull Bagh Bridge in Districts 6 and 7. Preparations are underway to ready the route for asphalting. Construction on the first phase, linking Darul Aman Palace to Faisal Township, is also progressing swiftly and is expected to be completed and opened within this year. Serving as an economic corridor between western parts of Kabul and the southern region, Gull Bagh Road plays a vital role in expanding the city’s traffic infrastructure. The Kabul Municipality has further announced plans to commence work soon on the third and fourth phases of the project, which will extend the route to the Kabul–Logar Road
