Kabul Municipality has started the construction of a new road linking Baraki Intersection to Kolola Pushta in District 4, aiming to improve traffic flow and urban facilities. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Engineer Amir Zmarak Yasir, Deputy for Construction Affairs of Kabul Municipality. Mr. Yasir stated that the road will span 654 meters in length and 20 meters in width, serving as an alternative route to Baraki Intersection. Constructed to technical standards, the project includes drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, and flowerbeds, and is expected to be completed within four months. He noted that the new road will help address transportation challenges arising from the ongoing construction of an overpass and underpass at Baraki Intersection, offering residents greater ease of movement. Local residents welcomed the project’s launch, expressing satisfaction and pledging their cooperation with Kabul Municipality during its implementation
