Kabul Municipality has completed the first layer of asphalt on Shirpor Road in District 10, following the completion of foundational works, with the second layer set to be laid soon. The road, stretching 646 meters in length and 20 meters in width from Shirpor’s Second Street to Shahid Intersection in Shahr-e Naw, plays a key role in reducing traffic congestion in the central part of the city. As part of the city’s road network rehabilitation plan, the construction and development of Shirpor Road remain a priority for Kabul Municipality, and implementation work is actively ongoing. The asphalt work is being carried out under the supervision of the Programs and Projects Regulation Directorate of Kabul Municipality, with all materials tested in laboratories to ensure quality
