Construction of the first phase of the Bagrami-Lata Band Road, extending to the Kabul-Jalalabad Highway in the 21st district, is underway, with work focused on preparing it for asphalt paving as soon as possible. According to Kabul Municipality’s Programs and Projects Management Directorate, the road spans 3,300 meters in length and 50 meters in width, including a drainage canal, four culverts, and 7,000 cubic meters of retaining walls. Once completed, the road will improve transportation access for residents and support economic and transit activities in the district.Kabul Municipality also plans to begin construction of the second phase soon, given its importance for urban traffic flow from the south to the east
