As part of its efforts to expand green spaces in the city, Kabul Municipality, with support from UNOPS, has begun the construction of a recreational park in the third section of Khair Khana, located in the 2nd Section of District 15. The park will cover an area of 10,000 square meters and include fencing, pedestrian pathways, a well, a water storage facility for irrigation, lawns, saplings and ornamental plants, as well as waste bins. The project is being implemented under the supervision of the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality and is expected to be completed within the next two months
