To improve conditions and facilitate movement for residents, the assigned commission carried out an assessment of urban order in the markets of Company and surrounding areas. Deputy Director of Kabul Municipality’s Market Regulation Directorate, Engineer Esmatullah Ansar, said: “Street vendors will be relocated to designated alternative areas, and proper parking spaces will be allocated for vehicles to bring positive changes to the appearance of this crowded part of the city.” He further explained that the Urban Order Commission—comprising representatives from Kabul Municipality, Kabul Province, Kabul Police Command, the Traffic Directorate, the Intelligence Directorate, and the Ministries of Transport and Defense—implements its operational plan in full coordination to enforce the law and enhance urban order in different areas, including the Company market. Mr. Ansar stressed that urban order is a key principle for citizens’ welfare and comfort, which will be pursued seriously through supportive and regulatory measures, adding that violators will face legal consequences
