
The second section of Gull Bagh Road, extending from Faisal Township to Gull Bagh Bridge, is undergoing foundational construction and will soon be prepared for asphalt. This section, situated in districts 6 and 7, spans 2,396 meters in length and 33 meters in width. The project includes a 24-meter-long culvert with a width of 1.2 meters, along with curbstones, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, streetlights, and road markings. According to officials, 35 percent of the work has been completed so far. Gull Bagh Road is planned in four sections. Following the completion of the first and second sections, construction on the third and fourth sections will commence in the near future. Recognized as one of Kabul’s vital economic corridors, this road connects the city’s western areas with the south. It is also expected to significantly enhance transport infrastructure and help reduce traffic congestion
