The first layer of asphalt on the new connecting road from Parwan-3 to Badam Bagh in District 4 was completed last night, and the road has now been opened to traffic. According to the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality, the road measures 560 meters in length and 20 meters in width, and is being constructed with drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, and retaining walls. Most parts of the road had already been asphalted earlier, but the remaining work was delayed due to certain obstacles. After these issues were resolved, the pending asphalt work was carried out last night. The second layer of asphalt is scheduled to begin soon. Once fully completed, the road will help reduce traffic congestion in the area and support local economic development
