Asphalting has begun on the remaining 780-meter section of Badam Bagh Road following the completion of foundational works. The road, which extends 3,289 meters in length and varies between 20 and 30 meters in width, connects Sarai Shamali Intersection to Naderia High School Intersection. Of this, 1,500 meters had already been asphalted earlier, while work on the remaining foundational sections is underway to prepare them for paving. According to the Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Programs and Projects Management, the project is being implemented in line with urban standards and includes the construction of a drainage system, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, installation of streetlights, road markings, and other standard features. Kabul Municipality plans to complete the project within the current year and open it for public use
