In compliance with UNOPS, Kabul Municipality has initiated the construction of four streets in the 4th section of District 3. According to the Programs and Projects Management Directorate, the project includes concreting three streets with a combined length of 699 meters, along with the construction of a stair-shaped street measuring 131 meters in length and 4 meters in width. Currently, 95 percent of the work has been completed, and the project is expected to be finalized within the next two weeks. Once completed, it will help address many social and environmental challenges faced by residents in the area.
It is also noteworthy that this project has provided job opportunities for a number of citizens.
