Construction of a new connecting road, including a vehicular bridge, from Diwan Begi to Mahtab Qala in Districts 5, 6, and 13 is currently in progress and has reached 65 percent completion. The road, measuring 1,733 meters in length and 30 meters in width, features a vehicular bridge being constructed by Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Works Maintenance and Monitoring, spanning 21.5 meters in length and 20 meters in width. The project also includes the construction of curbs, pedestrian sidewalks, flowerbeds, bicycle lanes, road markings, and the installation of streetlights. This road is expected to play a key role in managing traffic flow in the Company and Barchi areas. Upon completion, it will help address transportation challenges and support the economic development of the surrounding areas
