Excavation, soil transportation, curb construction, and leveling are underway for the construction of Gul Bagh Road, linking the Chehel Dokhtaran area to the Kabul–Logar highway as part of ongoing efforts to expand transportation infrastructure in the capital. The Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Programs and Project Management reported that the fourth phase of the project covers 2,422 meters in length and 33 meters in width. It will feature curbs, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, streetlights, road markings, and other standard elements of a modern roadway, with completion expected within one year. Officials also confirmed that several properties are being acquired for the project, and their owners will receive compensation in line with legal provisions
