
In District 3, construction and expansion work continues on the road connecting Pul-e Artel to Dehmazang, covering 1,040 meters in length and 28 meters in width. Progress on the project has reached 55 percent. Current activities include obstacle removal, excavation, soil transport, leveling, and curb construction as part of the road’s fundamental development. The project also entails building curbs, pedestrian walkways, retaining walls, flowerbeds, bicycle lanes, and other standard features of a modern roadway. According to the contract, the road will be completed and opened to the public within this year. Once finished, the project is expected to ease traffic congestion in the central areas of Kabul and play a role in boosting the city’s economic growth
