Kabul Municipality has started constructing a new road from Joy Shir to Pul-e Artal in District 2, covering 860 meters in length and 45 meters in width. Efforts are underway to complete and inaugurate the project within the current year. The Directorate of Programs and Projects Management reported that the project includes a 293-meter canal with a width of 2 meters and a 95-meter retaining wall measuring 60 centimeters in width and 5 meters in height, along with other standard road features. Once finished, the road will ease traffic congestion in central Kabul and support economic growth in the surrounding areas.
