The foundational work on the new connecting road from Khwaja Baghra Square to Qasaba in District 15 has been completed, and asphalt paving has officially begun. The Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality stated that the asphalting is being carried out following laboratory testing of materials to ensure quality standards.

The road measures 675 meters in length and 30 meters in width. It includes a 20-meter culvert with a width of 1.3 meters, side ditches, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, road markings, traffic lights, bicycle lanes, and other standard components. Asphalt work has started on a 435-meter section, while concreting on the remaining 240 meters had already been completed earlier.

Once completed, the road will help ease traffic congestion in the surrounding areas and provide residents with improved social and urban facilities.
