
Kabul Municipality has reported that road construction in the Shash Darak area of District 9 has reached 50 percent completion. The project includes six subroads with a combined length of 1,507 meters and widths ranging between 13 and 24 meters. Efforts are ongoing to finalize the work within the current year and open the roads for public use.
According to the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management, the project also includes drainage systems, pedestrian pathways, green spaces, and other key components.
Once completed, the new infrastructure is expected to greatly facilitate movement for residents of the Shash Darak area.
