Work on the remaining foundational sections of the first phase of the Kabul-Logar road is advancing swiftly, with preparations underway to asphalt the route at the earliest opportunity.
A sub-lane of 3,700 meters and the main lane of 2.5 kilometers have already been asphalted following the completion of their foundational structures.
The road, constructed according to modern engineering standards, stretches seven kilometers from Nejat Monument to Charkh-e Ab and spans 60 meters in width.
Construction is also ongoing on the Mastan Canal along the road, which extends 500 meters in length, four meters in width, and 2.5 meters in depth.
Considered a major economic corridor in Kabul’s southern region, the Kabul-Logar road is a top priority for the municipality, which has committed to completing it and opening it for public use as quickly as possible.
