Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Publications and Public Awareness held a public awareness session with residents of districts falling under the city’s First Zone, focusing on urban planning matters.
The gathering was attended by Qari Wasiullah Zahid, Director of Publications and Public Awareness Directorate, Qari Inamullah Qazizada, Head of Public and Social Affairs Coordination, Nimatullah Barikzai, Media Advisor to Kabul Municipality, along with community representatives, religious scholars, and youth. Participants were informed about the details of the road network correction plan and district zoning plans prepared under the GIS system.
Mohammad Yasin Amin, Public Awareness Manager at the Directorate, stressed that enhancing public understanding of urban plans is an essential requirement. Attendees welcomed the initiative, describing it as useful, and pledged their full support to Kabul Municipality in implementing urban development programs.
The road network correction plan was recently drafted by the Urban Infrastructure Directorate of Kabul Municipality, approved by the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, and is now ready for execution.
