In coordination with UNOPS, Kabul Municipality has started the construction of a subroad in the Pul-e Pajak area, located in 22nd section of District 14.
The Directorate of Programs and Projects Management reported that the road will be 1,100 meters long and four meters wide, featuring five culverts and drainage systems.
So far, the project has reached 20 percent progress and is expected to be completed within the next two months. Upon completion, it will help address transportation and environmental challenges for local residents.
The project has also generated job opportunities for a number of citizens.
