Kabul Municipality has reported that the urban redevelopment project in the 91-Family area of District 17 has reached 90 percent progress and is expected to be completed and delivered for use in the near future.
The project, implemented on a 1,485-square-meter plot, includes the construction of two ten-story blocks. Each block features a basement, with the ground floor allocated for commercial use and the remaining nine floors for residential purposes.
In total, the buildings will provide 108 residential apartments along with shops, supermarkets, and other essential facilities for daily needs. All stages of construction have been carried out under technical and engineering supervision.
The Directorate of Land Readjustment and Development of Kabul Municipality emphasized that the land redevelopment strategy, aimed at transforming unplanned areas into planned residential zones and addressing housing needs, will also be applied in other districts.
