Fundamental construction work is underway on a road stretching from Joy Shir to Pul-e Artal in District 2. The road, measuring 860 meters in length and 45 meters in width, will be prepared for asphalt paving in the near future.
The project also includes the construction of a 273-meter-long, 2-meter-wide canal, a 95-meter-long retaining wall with a width of 60 centimeters and a height of 5 meters, along with other standard roadway features.
Upon completion, the project will help ease traffic congestion in the central parts of the city and contribute to the economic growth of the surrounding areas.
It is noteworthy that Kabul Municipality, with the aim of improving traffic and transportation infrastructure, is also working on a road expansion project stretching from Farhang Intersection to Shah Do Shamshira intersection, which is currently in the procurement phase.
