Asphalting work has started on the 800-meter connecting road from Beni Hisar to Stanikzai intersection in District 8, following the completion of its foundational structures.
According to officials from Kabul Municipality’s Directorate of Programs and Projects Management, the entire project is designed to cover 1,655 meters in length and 40 meters in width. The project also includes the construction of pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, bicycle lanes, culverts, installation of traffic signs and lights, road markings, and other components of a standard roadway.
At the same time, foundational work is progressing rapidly on the connecting road from Stanikzai intersection to Bagrami, which will soon be prepared for asphalting.
With the completion of this project, the Kabul–Logar road will be directly connected to the Bagrami road, significantly easing traffic flow and improving transportation facilities in the area.
