Construction work on the second phase of Gull Bagh Road, stretching from Faisal Township to Gull Bagh Bridge, is currently underway and will soon be prepared for asphalting.
The road, measuring 2,396 meters in length and 33 meters in width, includes a 24-meter-long and 1.2-meter-wide culvert, as well as drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, street lighting, road markings, and other components of a standard roadway.
It is noteworthy that the Gull Bagh Road project has been designed in four phases. Alongside the completed first phase and the ongoing second phase, construction on the third phase has also commenced.
Gull Bagh Road is regarded as one of Kabul’s key economic corridors, linking the city’s western and southern zones and playing a vital role in expanding transportation infrastructure and reducing traffic congestion.
