The asphalting work on Kamari Road, situated to the west of Bagrami Project in District 22, has started and was warmly welcomed by local residents. Officials from Kabul Municipality are working diligently to complete the project before the arrival of cold weather, ensuring it becomes ready for public use. The road under construction in the 22nd district measures a total of 2,586 meters in length. Of this, a 1,255-meter section with a width ranging from 26 to 31 meters will be asphalted, while the remaining 1,331 meters, with a width of 6.5 meters, will be concreted. The project also features the construction of a large water canal measuring 1,255 meters in length and 2 meters in width, along with 46 culverts, each 4.4 meters long and 3 meters wide. Additionally, it includes an 85-meter-long retaining wall with a height of 2.7 meters and a width varying between 1.9 and 2.1 meters. Side ditches, sidewalks, and planters are also part of the design, alongside the installation of streetlights, road markings, and other components of a standard road. According to project officials, most of the asphalting work has been completed, and the concreting phase is now in progress, expected to begin soon. Designed in line with the principle of balanced development and Kabul Municipality’s urban development plan, this road project holds great significance in improving transportation infrastructure, easing traffic congestion, and enhancing mobility for residents of District 22
