
During an inspection campaign in District 7, municipal officials seized 800 kilograms of expired and substandard food and non-food items, along with 350 loudspeakers that were contributing to noise pollution. All confiscated items were transported to a designated site for proper disposal. Mawlawi Abdul Shakur Zaheen, Head of Urban Services for District 7, said that regular inspections are being carried out by the Environmental Health Department to safeguard the health and well-being of residents. He urged citizens to check expiration dates and product quality before making purchases and advised shopkeepers to refrain from selling low-quality goods.
