
In District 14, five concrete projects involving the construction of streets and subroads in the 1st, 7th, 13th, 15th, and 19th sections of Paghman have been completed and officially inaugurated. The ceremony was attended by Engineer Mirurrahman Naseri, Head of Programs and Project Management, Qari Ali Ahmad Mujahid, District Governor of Paghman, along with local elders. In his remarks, Engineer Naseri stated that similar projects are being carried out in areas lacking urban and social facilities. He explained that the newly completed projects, with a total length of 4,585 meters and widths ranging from 2.9 to 5.6 meters, were implemented by Kabul Municipality in coordination with UNOPS. The projects were finalized within three months at a total cost of 34.5 million Afghanis. Residents expressed their satisfaction with the completion of these projects, saying that they had previously faced many difficulties due to poor road conditions, which have now been largely resolved. They also committed to maintaining the newly constructed streets and roads. It is worth noting that during the implementation of these projects, employment opportunities were provided for 100 to 150 local workers
