In coordination with UNOPS, Kabul Municipality has started the concreting of four streets in the Mamozai area, located in the 22nd section of District 22. According to the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality, the project covers a total length of 1,015 meters and a width ranging from 3.5 to 4 meters. Including the drainage systems, the work has progressed by 60 percent and is expected to be completed to standard within the next two weeks. Once completed, the project will help address environmental and transportation challenges for local residents.
