In District 13, groundwork has started for the construction of a new connecting road from Naqqash Hamam in Barchi to Omid-e-Sabz Township, with activities such as obstacle removal and soil transportation currently in progress.
The planned road, spanning three kilometers in length and 30 meters in width, is scheduled for full completion within one year.
The project includes the installation of drainage systems, pedestrian walkways, flowerbeds, streetlights, and other components of a standard roadway.
Engineers from the Directorate of Programs and Projects Management of Kabul Municipality are carrying out technical and engineering supervision at various stages of the project to ensure quality and timely completion.
In line with the principles of balanced development, the implementation of such projects will help address transportation challenges for citizens and promote economic growth in the surrounding areas.
